Inside an exercise
Switch the AI layer on, then decide what to trust.
Trainees work on a 3D model of a 2,000 L bioreactor. With the AI layer on, every sensor reading, AI model and batch record check appears around the vessel. Some say normal. Some do not. The pair decides what to act on, and the decision is scored.

- Trainee work is stored in the EU, in Ireland. AI requests are processed by Anthropic in the US under a DPA and standard contractual clauses.

Questions people ask first.
Do trainees need to know anything about AI before the course?
No. Most trainees on the flagship course have never had a conversation with an AI model before the first exercise, so that exercise is an open conversation with no mark. The course starts from the work trainees already do.
What happens to what our people type into the exercises?
It is stored in the EU, in Ireland. AI requests go through our server-side proxy to Anthropic, which processes them in the US under a data processing agreement and standard contractual clauses. Anthropic does not use API inputs or outputs for training by default.
What does each trainee leave with?
A co-branded certificate, a full course record of their decisions and scores, and an alumni code to keep practising on their own device for 12 months.
How is it different from an e-learning module?
An instructor runs it in a room, trainees work in pairs, and every exercise ends in a decision that is scored and debriefed. E-learning records that someone finished a module. Symerse records the calls they made.
Does the course certify EU AI Act compliance?
No. No course can certify EU AI Act compliance, and we do not claim to. The course builds the practical AI literacy that Article 4 of the Act asks organisations to ensure in their staff.
